Stoke Bishop Open Gardens Trail 2015

I have recently produced the leaflet for the Stoke Bishop Open Gardens Trail which takes place this Sunday from 1pm. The design is summery in tone and reflects the vibrant nature of the gardens on show.

There are eight local gardens in total on the trail, Passports cost £5.00 per person with children free. This event is run by volunteers and all proceeds are in aid of the Old Sneed Park Nature Reserve, University of Bristol Botanic Garden and Stoke Bishop hanging baskets. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to see these wonderful gardens!

Friends' Newsletter for the University of Bristol Botanic Garden: Summer Issue 2015

I have recently completed the Summer issue of the Friends' Newsletter for the University of Bristol Botanic Garden. This is an A5, 32 page, quarterly publication regularly designed by myself. This latest issue contains an article about the first 10 years of the Botanic Garden at The Holmes, an interesting double page spread about Butterflies and details for the next Bee and Pollination Festival in September.

I also helped design the promotional material for this years Jazz in the Garden event on Saturday 25th July. This year the music is provided by The Blue Notes with Hannah Wedlock. Tickets are limited and priced as follows: £10 in advance (£12 at the gate), children free. The event starts at 7pm but there is a tour of the Botanic Garden beforehand at 4.30pm and the bar opens from 6pm. You're encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy the beautiful surroundings while listening to the music of this popular Bristol Jazz band.

For more information about the Botanic Garden view their website here: www.bristol.ac.uk/botanic-garden.

Below is the cover from the latest issue.
